Tiger Woods will once again look to battle against back pain as he bids to make the cut after a horrible first round at The Open.
The 15-time major champion, who stunned the world with his fifth Masters victory at Augusta in April, looked uncomfortable throughout his first round of 78 at Royal Portrush.
Woods, 43, insisted that he would not withdraw ahead of his second round as he began the day 12 shots back from the overnight leader.
