Tiger Woods’ mom fixed the Medal of Freedom after President Trump tangled it

Tiger Woods was at the White House on Monday to be presented with the Presidential Medal of Freedom following his Masters victory in April.

Woods, who had gone 11 years between major victories as off-the-course scandal and injury temporarily derailed his career, was given the honor to commemorate his comeback to the top of the sport.

Yet, during the presentation, golf fans noticed that something didn’t seem right. As President Trump was awarding Tiger with the medal, he tangled up the ribbon despite having the medal handed to him with the appropriate configuration.

Woods stood alongside Trump for the entire presentation with a twisted-looking medal.

The ribbon remained tangled during Woods’ remarks. This didn’t look great.

Following Woods’ speech, the entire Woods family posed for a photo. That was when Tiger’s mother, Tida, fixed the ribbon.

But this happened after the presentation, which means that every Tiger Woods Medal of Freedom photo features him with a tangled up ribbon.

That’s rough.
