- The video shows Woods, 50, telling deputies, “I looked down at my phone and all of a sudden – boom,” describing the moment his Land Rover clipped a machinery truck and flipped over.
- Woods is checked out by a deputy in the footage who tells him they will have a medic will examine him. After being assessed by Drug Recognition Experts on the scene, it was determined that he was “impaired” and he was taken to the county jail for testing.
- The golfer has pleaded not guilty to the DUI charge, was released on bail, and stated he is stepping away to seek treatment for his health.
