Tiger Tiger Manchester is closing - with a new garden of Eden-themed bar and club taking over

Printworks party palace Tiger Tiger is closing, with a new bar, restaurant and club inspired by the garden of Eden taking its place.

The Withy Grove venue is being transformed into what its new owners describe as 'a playground of sensory delights', spread over three floors.

Revamped and rebranded as Eden, the site will be decked out with a new floral-themed interior design, with a botanical-inspired cocktail menu to match.

It will centre around an open kitchen serving a globally-inspired all-day menu featuring wood-fired grills and sourdough pizzas.

At night, owners promise it will be 'a wonderland for late-night revelry' with three distinct nightclub experiences on the top floor.

Cult 80s film Back to the Future is being turned into a West End musical - with a Manchester premiere

As well as the main club room, Hedonist, guests can hit a flashing dancefloor to a soundtrack of 80s, 90s and 00s party hits in Genesis; hear hip hop beats in old-school 90s club room Forbidden.

Tiger Tiger's private karaoke pods will remain, renamed as Voice of Eden, with a catalogue of more than 1,000 songs to choose from.

There'll also be an outdoor terrace on Withy Grove opposite the site left empty by cabaret club The Birdcage, which announced its closure this month .

The site was sold to The Deltic Group last November and will reopen as Eden this summer.

A closing date has yet to be confirmed for Tiger Tiger but it is expected to shut around six to eight weeks before to allow for the refurbishment.

Doug Waldron, Eden Manchester’s general manager said: “We’re hugely excited to bring this brand-new botanical inspired, all-day destination concept to Manchester.

"Eden will be a truly captivating space, modern and eclectic and perfect for all occasions. We really wanted to create a paradise in the city where people can escape to, no matter what time of day it is.

"From an elegant drinking den and premium dining offering, to late-night entertainment, Eden is the place to drink, dance, dine and discover.”

Deltic is also turning the Tiger Tiger sites in Newcastle and Portsmouth into Eden bars and clubs.
