Tiger King's Jeff Lowe claimed the TV bosses lied to all stars about show's real purpose.
The zoo operator explained all the stars had been tricked into working on the colourful docuseries Tiger King released on Netflix.
It had been sold to Jeff and his wife Lauren Dropla, 28, as an expose on their arch nemesis and Big Cat Rescue's Carole Baskin.
On the flip side, the businessman said Carole had been stitched up because TV bosses spun a tale it was a warning against the dangers of keeping tigers.

He said: " Netflix did not approach us. We were produced by the guys who made the show. They framed it as an expose on Carole Baskins.
"And to Carole, they said it was warning against the dangers of keeping tigers. They misrepresented the show to everyone."
Jeff made the big reveal on a Q&A thread posted on Reddit after he received a question from a budding Tiger King fan.

Among the crowd, one fan had asked him: "How did Netflix approach you to film this? How did they frame it to you?"
Jeff found fame after he starred on Netflix docuseries Tiger King in recent weeks.
