Tiger King's Dillon Passage 'outraged' as Joe Exotic fears he'll 'die in months'

Tiger King 's Dillon Passage said he is 'outraged' at how his husband Joe Exotic is being treated after reading his 'heartbreaking' letter.

The Netflix star took to social media to express his concern after Joe - who is serving a 22-year jail sentence - chillingly predicted he would be 'dead within months'.

In a letter recently obtained by TMZ, the Tiger King star said that his "soul is dead" and that he was struggling in prison.

According to TMZ, the Tiger King also questioned whether he was 'still married' and hadn't heard from Dillon, 22, as everyone "is so busy making money and being famous".

Joe's third husband has since spoken out and said he was shocked by how Joe was being treated and fumed that imprisonment is 'breaking his spirit'.

Dillon also revealed that he had tried to write letters to his imprisoned beau but that they weren't being passed on.

Taking to social media, Dillon posted a picture of himself cuddling a puppy alongside his emotional message.

"My heart is breaking after reading Joe’s letter," Dillon began.

"He is living in hell right now and I’m outraged by the way he is being treated. I can’t even begin to imagine how that is breaking his spirit."

Dillon vowed to stand by his husband and also argued that social media fans don't see the whole extent of his support for Joe.

He continued: "I love Joe and I’m standing by him. The photos that I post on here are a highlight reel of my life…

"What you don’t see are the hours that I’m alone at home, missing my husband and my friend."

Dillon defended his actions, despite being spotted at various parties with the Too Hot To Handle cast just last month.

In response to Joe's question about whether his husband will be there, Dillon added: "I’ve been writing letters and it is a shame to hear that he isn’t receiving them…

"I know they limit the amount he can read in a week and I only hope they eventually get to him. Joe, I hope that this reaches you too. Know that I love you and I’m fighting for you everyday. #freejoeexotic."

Joe is currently serving 22-years for a murder for hire plot and a string of animal rights abuses.

He has always maintained his innocence and his legal team is reportedly working on getting a pardon from Donald Trump.

In his letter, Joe also begged Kim Kardashian and Cardi B for help.
