Tiger King's Carole Baskin leads impressive Dancing with the Stars line-up

As Strictly Come Dancing bosses slowly reveal their 2020 line-up, the stars taking part in the US version of the show have been named - and it's a seriously impressive roster.

Tiger King cast member Carole Baskin will lead the celebs hoping to impress on the Stateside dancefloor, competing against Selling Sunset’s Chrishell Stause and rapper Nelly.

They will be joined by NBA star Charles Oakley, actress Anne Heche, Backstreet Boys singer AJ McLean, Desperate Housewives actor Jesse Metcalfe, and Monica Aldama, who fans might recognise from the Netflix series Cheer.

The news means Baskin will not be appearing in ITV's I'm A Celebrity... Get me out of Here! as the two series run simultaneously.

The line-up is completed by former San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis, Disney Channel actress Skai Jackson, One Day At A Time star Justina Machado, talk show host Jeannie Mai, Catfish’s Nev Schulman, former Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe and Olympic figure skater Johnny Weir.

Dancing with the Stars usually shares a judge with Strictly as Bruno Tonioli typically spends the latter half of the year jetting between Los Angeles and London.

However with coronavirus travel restrictions remaining in place, he will be staying in the US - leaving his Strictly seat free.

Tonioli will still appear on the Sunday night results shows via videolink.

This week has seen a number of stars confirmed for Strictly including Radio 1's Clara Amfo and The Wanted singer Max George.

Boxer Nicola Adams will also make history by becoming the first contestant to be paired with a same-sex professional.
