Tiger King’s Carole Baskin is believed to have been offered a big-money deal by ITV bosses to appear on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.
The show are reportedly desperate to have one of the stars of the Netflix’s hit in the jungle.
Carole, the 59-year-old arch nemesis of the notorious zookeeper Joe Exotic, has become a cult figure since the show’s worldwide success during lockdown.
And it has been reported that the CEO of Big Cat Rescue has now been formally approached by I’m A Celeb.
Meanwhile, the Tiger King himself Joe, 57, is still in jail serving a 22-year sentence for orchestrating a plot to kill Carole.
The Sun reports that a TV source said: “Jungle producers have made a formal approach and hope she will do it.”
ITV said: “All names at this stage are speculation.”
As fans of the documentary series will know, Carole has been the subject of conspiracy theories over the disappearance of her second husband Don Lewis.
Joe has accused her of killing him and feeding him to her tigers. She denies these claims.
Since it came out in March, Netflix say a staggering 64 million households globally watched the series which follows big cat owners and their intense rivalries across the US.
I'm A Celebrity is expected to be back on our screen for its usual slot later this year. However, the show is at the mercy of the global coronavirus pandemic and producers don't know at this stage whether strict travel restrictions will still be in place by November when filming would normally begin in Australia.
