Tiger King, 'Karen' and Covid-inspired Halloween costumes to be popular this year

With Halloween just around the corner, there is set to be some clear costume favourites inspired by 2020 events.

It appears the 'Karen', Tiger King and coronavirus will prove to be the most popular fancy dress options come October 31.

While you might not be able to throw a party due to the global pandemic, there's nothing stopping you getting from getting dressed up.

An online retailer is offering outfits for those who want to channel the stars of Netflix's Tiger King - including Joe Exotic and Carole Baskin.

The sexy costumes, sold on Yandy, include a tiger-print bodysuit, ears and even a stuffed toy cat.

The description reads: "A queen only bows down to her king. Be the baddest kitty queen in town in this Coolest Cat costume".

You can also purchase a wig of Joe Exotic's iconic blonde mullet, while eBay is selling bedazzled Tiger King shirts.

Some retailers are even jumping on the 'Karen' trend and are selling asymmetrical blonde wigs, T-shirts that read "I want to speak to the manager" and even latex masks, The Mirror reports.

LA-based artist Jason Adcock has been making handmade £140 masks of the Karen - a stereotype used to describe rude and entitled white middle aged women.

Jason's creepy masks, which feature a blonde woman with a furious facial expression, have proved so popular it's sold out.

Sellers on Etsy have been offering a Karen wig which will set you back £27.44.

Meanwhile, Amazon has been selling coronavirus masks and hazmat suits for a pandemic-inspired Halloween.

What will you be dressing up as this Halloween?
