Tiger King husband Dillon Passage admits he feels sorry for Carole Baskin

The husband of Tiger King star Joe Exotic has admitted he feels sorry for Carole Baskin.

The hit Netflix docuseries focuses on the intense rivalry between eccentric animal keeper Exotic and animal rights activist Baskin.

However, despite Exotic's criminality being the focus of the show, questions were also raised about the fate of one of Carole Baskin's own husbands.

Due to this, Joe's husband Dillon Passage has expressed sympathy for Carole's situation after the show was released.

Dillon was speaking with FUBAR Radio when he revealed his thoughts on Carole Baskin.

He said: "Obviously him getting Carole caught for killing her husband is a huge thing to him, which, who knows what happened?

He continued: "The investigators could either find something or they couldn't. It's really up in the air.

"If they do then they do and if they don't then I kind of feel for her because everyone's been saying she's killed her husband and if she didn't then that's gotta really have an impact on her."

However, despite the excitement of the documentary's release, Dillon has said that Joe's priority right now is Dillon himself.

On the flip side, the businessman said Carole had been stitched up because TV bosses spun a tale it was a warning against the dangers of keeping tigers (Netflix)

"I would say Joe's main priority is his marriage for sure," explained Dillon.

Their plan is to work at sharing Joe's story when - and not if - Joe gets out of prison.

Dillon revealed: "I think his main goal though once he gets out of jail is to rebuild his reputation because it was totally tarnished and torn to pieces once he got arrested.

"And he wasn't able to tell his story until this documentary came out."

Meanwhile, Dillon has also discussed how his life has changed since the release of Tiger King.

One of the biggest things he has faced is being bombarded with nude images on social media.

He told the radio channel: "I've definitely received quite a few nudes from people and it's just like, 'keep that to yourself'.

"I already know what a wiener looks like, I don't need to see yours too!"

Sadly, some people need to be told that unsolicited nudity is not okay!

Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness is available now on Netflix.
