Tiffany & Co unveils luxury Advent calendar worth £100k

Advent calenders used to be associated with young children.

However, in recent years there has been a shift in the advent calendar market, and now you can now buy a variety of different ones that contain items other than chocolate.

These choices range from booze-filled calendars to make-up and beauty products ones.

Last month, Beaverbrooks released its £100,000 advent calendar which includes a diamond-encrusted item for every day running up to Christmas.

And now Tiffany and Co has gone one step further, releasing an Advent calendar which will set you back £104,000.

It is filled with expensive gifts such as tanzanite drop earrings, a diamond pendant, the new Tiffany 1837 Makers watch, a Tiffany T True bracelet in 18k yellow gold and an Tiffany's iconic heart tag bracelet.

Each trinket inside the luxury calendar comes with a price tag ranging from £100 to £13,000.

Reed Krakoff, chief artistic officer at Tiffany & Co says: “This holiday we wanted to really surprise our customers in a whole new way by showcasing the most awe-inspiring objects and experiences that you can only find at Tiffany's".

It will go on sale on 9 November, exclusively at Harrods.

The advent calendar’s design is modelled on Tiffany & Co’s flagship store on Fifth Avenue, New York.

The flagship store famously featured in an iconic scene from the Hollywood blockbuster Breakfast at Tiffany's.
