The Tier system is set to be reviewed by the government today, with some areas next to Liverpool hoping to be moved down from Tier 3 into Tier 2.
Liverpool went into Tier 2 following the end of the second national lockdown earlier this month.
Before the lockdown Liverpool was in Tier 3, which has the harshest restrictions in the fight against coronavirus.
But following a programme of mass testing cases across the city plummeted, meaning Merseyside was able to go down into Tier 2.
Warrington and Cheshire were also placed into Tier 2.
However areas a stone's throw away weren't so lucky, and were placed into Tier 3.
These neighbouring areas are hoping to also go down a Tier following today's government review.
We decided to take a look at the areas in Tier 3 that are hoping to see their restrictions loosened.
