Tiemoue Bakayoko makes Chelsea vow after returning from AC Milan loan spell

Tiemoue Bakayoko has made a vow to return to Chelsea to fight for a starting spot at the club next season and his agent revealed that he wants stability.

Bakayoko spent the entire 2018/19 season on loan at the San Siro after a turbulent first season with the club, and despite a rough start to life at AC Milan, the dynamic midfielder became a key player in the starting line up.

Milan missed out on Champions League qualification whilst he was on loan and with his loan spell up, the 24-year-old has made the decision to return to west London in order to become a regular.

In an interview with French newspaper L'Equipe, the Frenchman's agent and brother, Abdoulaye said: "There are some pretty interested clubs, quite big clubs that have enquired but we give priority to Chelsea .

"We already know there is the Champions League [at Chelsea] and we are looking for stability.

"Tiemoue has decided to stay there."

Bakayoko made 42 appearances in all competitions for the Rossoneri, where he scored one goal and made one assist in the Serie A, as Milan finished fifth one point behind rivals Inter.

In his debut season with Chelsea he made 43 appearances, 10 of which were made as an substitute, and won the FA Cup with the Blues.
