Tickets to see The Book of Mormon in Edinburgh are now on sale

Tickets to see The Book of Mormon in Edinburgh next year are now on sale.

The outrageous musical comedy from the creators of South Park, Trey Parker and Matt Stone and Bobby Lopez, co-writer of Avenue Q and Frozen, follows the misadventures of a mismatched pair of missionaries.

The show will be on at the Edinburgh Playhouse next summer from Wednesday, June 17 until Saturday, July 4.

Interest in the production is high with tickets expected to sell quickly - especially with Christmas coming up.

The musical comedy has won more than 30 international awards so far and Bobby Lopez is one of only 15 artists to win an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony.

The Book of Mormon follows a pair of missionaries from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints as they attempt to preach the religion to the inhabitants of a remote Ugandan village.
