Tickets still available for sing-along Saw screening at CCA this weekend

There's a sing-along screening of hit horror movie Saw happening this weekend - and tickets are still available.

The one-off event is being organised by the team at Glasgow-based Matchbox Cineclub in partnership with Pity Party Film Club, and takes place in the CCA on Sauchiehall Street on Sunday (August 18) from 6pm to 10pm.

Done to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the gory torture flick, organisers promise that the film will be “ripped to shreds and reassembled with brand-new sing-along sections”.

And that will be done via live drag performances inspired by scenes in the film by the likes of Drag artist Puke (the monster of ceremonies) alongside a host of guest performers.

The event will also mark the release of Scalarama Scotland’s 2019 programme - which will be revealed on the night.

Scalarama is an annual celebration of cinema which sees independent cinema film clubs organise thousands of screenings across the UK every September.
