Tickets refunded as power outage closes National Portrait Gallery

National Portrait Gallery Marilyn Monroe

The National Portrait Gallery in central London is closing on Thursday due to an “unexpected” power outage.
The closure affects the entire gallery, including the Marilyn Monroe: A Portrait exhibition and The Portrait Restaurant.
Ticketholders for the affected day can exchange their tickets for another day or receive a full refund.
The gallery's Audrey Green Cafe will remain open despite the power issue.
The Marilyn Monroe exhibition, which opened in June, features works by artists such as Andy Warhol and Marlene Dumas.
