Music fans looking for something to cheer them up following Thursday's Tier 3 announcement will be able to get their hands on tickets tomorrow to see Jess Glynne in Newcastle.
The chart-topping pop favourite is set to perform a huge live show at Newcastle Racecourse next summer as part of a special event at Gosforth Park.
And tickets to see the My Love and Rather Be star will go on sale this Friday.
Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter Jess, who recently announced a festive cover of Donny Hathaway's This Christmas - a contender for her eighth number one - will be performing at the close of a day's racing on July 24.
Following early chart-topper My Love, Jess has followed up with a string of further hits and her debut album I Cry When I Laugh went straight to number one in 2015, becoming the second fastest-selling album of the year, followed to the top spot by Always in Between three years later.
Now a four-time Platinum record holder, she is the first British female solo artist to have seven number ones in the UK singles chart and also has had five Brit Award nominations.
In recent years she has wowed crowds at Newcastle's Utilita Arena - then called Metro Radio Arena - and supported the Spice Girls tour in 2019.
