Ticket update for Lewis Capaldi's open air concert at Liverpool's Croxteth Park

Lewis Capaldi will play a huge open-air concert in Liverpool next week, and it is no surprise that tickets sold out in a matter of hours.

The show, which was announced unexpectedly by Capaldi himself on Twitter, is hosted by BBC Radio 1 and takes place at Croxteth Park on Monday, August 5.

Capaldi will perform his hugely successful debut album, Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent, alongside a full live orchestra.

Unfortunately, according to the BBC website, tickets are now completely sold out - including the coveted ‘Local Residents Only’ option.

However, Ticketmaster's website shows ‘low availability’ for tickets for the big event, starting from £22 per person.

Fans looking to get tickets might be able to get last-minute ones through fan-to-fan resale site Twickets.

The website lists tickets for those who can no longer attend at face value or less - so you won't be ripped off - but they're expected to be snapped up quickly.

You can set up an alert to your phone or email for 'Lewis Capaldi tickets' in the North West and you'll be notified once they've been listed.

The concert follows a huge weekend at the Croxteth Park as it is set to host the BBC Summer Social on August 3 and 4.
