Ticket from Michael Jordan’s NBA debut at Chicago Stadium sells for nearly $25,000

Michael Jordan’s NBA debut with the Bulls was a solid showing for a rookie — 16 points, six rebounds, seven assists.

The Bulls bested the Washington Bullets in front of roughly 14,000 people on Oct. 26, 1984, at Chicago Stadium.

For those who were there, hanging onto the ticket stub could have meant a massive payday.

Huggins & Scott Auctions announced a ticket from Jordan’s debut sold for $24,907.50.

There aren’t many stubs circulating from Jordan’s debut. Sports memorabilia authentication service PSA has graded only 11 tickets from that night.

With Jordan on the mind thanks to “The Last Dance” documentary, there’s been an increased interest in his memorabilia items. A pair of game-worn, signed shoes went for $560,000.
