Tiago Silva injury latest as Nottingham Forest name starting XI to face Middlesbrough

Nottingham Forest have made one change to their starting XI as Sabri Lamouchi named his team to face Middlesbrough.

Tiago Silva is the player to miss out after the Portuguese play maker picked up an unspecified injury, which is understood to be only a short-term problem.

Silva, who scored the only goal in the win against Cardiff, had posted a message on Instagram suggesting he was struggling with injury on  Sunday. Alfa Semedo gets the nod come in as the advanced midfielder, making his first start since Forest lost to Wigan on December 29.

Midfielder John Bostock comes into a match day squad for the first time since the 2-2 draw at Millwall on December 12.

Brice Samba will have the now regular back four of Matty Cash, Tobias Figeuiredo, Joe Worrall and Yuri Ribeiro in front of him.

Ben Watson and Ryan Yates anchor midfield with Joe Lolley, Semedo and Sammy Ameobi in support of Lewis Grabban.

Key midfielder Samba Sow misses out again as he is hampered by a knee problem.

Forest (4-2-3-1): Samba; Cash, Figueiredo, Worrall, Ribeiro; Yates, Watson; Lolley, Semedo, Ameobi; Subs: Muric, Carvalho, Bostock, Diakhaby, Jenkinson, Dawson, Walker
