The TI 2026 Europe Qualifier gets going from June 21 to 28, featuring 16 teams competing for four places at Dota 2‘s biggest tournament of the year, The International 2026.
Among the heavy favorites are Team Spirit, TEAM VISION (also known as PARIVISION), Nigma Galaxy, and NAVI. They are joined by four more invited teams and eight squads that advanced through the Open Qualifiers. With four Dota 2 TI15 qualification slots up for grabs and a double-elimination bracket in place, expect every series to be cutthroat. Team Spirit and TEAM VISION are the teams to beat based on their performances throughout the season. Many fans actually expected at least one of them to secure a direct invitation to TI, but roster changes and inconsistent stretches may have contributed to their absence from the direct invite list.
Meanwhile, NAVI, Nigma Galaxy, Virtus.pro, and MOUZ have the experience and talent to challenge for qualification. Open Qualifier teams such as Yellow Submarine and Rune Eaters have shown they can compete against higher-profile opponents, making them potential dark horses in the Closed Qualifier.
TI 2026 Europe Qualifier format
Valve has introduced a unified European qualifier, combining Eastern Europe and Western Europe into a single regional competition. The tournament features a double-elimination bracket and awards four qualification spots for The International 2026, the highest allocation among all regional qualifiers.
Every series is played as a best-of-three (BO3), including the decisive qualifying matches. The two teams that win their Upper Bracket Round 3 matches automatically secure a place at Dota 2 TI15, while the two remaining qualification spots are awarded to the winners of the Lower Bracket Round 4 matches.
