Thursday's weather forecast for Leeds as sunshine continues

Spring is well and truly here on Thursday as Yorkshire is set to experience a dry and sunny day across the county.

After a cloudy few days, the latest Met Office forecast has revealed that Yorkshire will be dry and sunny all day, although some northern coastal areas may still experience a cloudy start before clearing as the day progresses.

The temperature is expected to remain a mild 17°C overall, which puts it in line with the seasonal average.

From Thursday evening and into Friday, it will then turn cooler with freshening easterly winds before small outbreaks of rain or drizzle return on Friday and Saturday.

In Leeds specifically, the day will start with clear skies when the sun rises at 5:53am. Sunshine will then continue throughout the day, before becoming slightly cloudier as the afternoon turns into the evening.

No rain is currently forecast, with the skies expecting to stay dry and clear until the sun finally sets at 8:24pm.

Temperatures will be between 7°C and 17°C.
