Thursday's weather forecast for Leeds as it's set to be wet and sunny

It'll be a temperamental day in Leeds today as the forecast predicts both sun and rain throughout the day.

According to the Met Office, Leeds is set to start Thursday, April 7, with the dark clouds, strong winds and heavy rain we've all been hearing through the night.

By 8am, the rain will start to ease off to a lighter fall, and the dark clouds will change to sun peeking out from behind the clouds.

This will mostly remain throughout the morning and into the early afternoon.

Temperatures will hit a maximum of seven degrees at 11am and stay that way until the evening, though the Met Office warns it will feel much colder.

The clouds will take over completely from 3pm until 6pm, when the sun will sneak back out again until sunset.

The rain is set to give up around 2pm and remain dry for the rest of the evening.

Wind gusts will hit a maximum of 45mph between 4am and 5am, before slowing down throughout the day.

The sun will rise at 6.26am and set at 7.52pm.
