Thursday's Met Office weather forecast for Leeds as day set to be cloudy

It's set to be a cloudy day in Leeds today in the wake of Storm Barra.

The storm brought strong winds and even some snow to Yorkshire, but today is shaping up to be much milder.

After Wednesday's heavy rain, Thursday is predicted to be mostly dry until 5pm.

In Leeds, the sun will rise at 8.11am to a cloudy day.

It'll start off cold at just four degrees in the morning.

The clouds will continue until midday - when the Met Office predicts some sun might peek through the clouds.

The day will also hit a maximum of seven degrees around midday.

It'll be cloudy again for the next hour, but there could be some sun with the cloud again at 2pm.

However, rain will be descending from 5pm onwards, continuing throughout the evening as it starts to cool off again.

The sun will set at 3.45pm.
