Thursday’s injury report for Chargers ahead of matchup vs. Titans

The Chargers finished up their second practice ahead of Sunday’s contest against the Titans.

Here is the injury report from today:

Everyone that didn’t practice on Wednesday remained as non-participants today.

The injuries to defensive tackles Brandon Mebane and Justin Jones are concerning for the defensive line, knowing that they will be tasked with slowing down Titans running back Derrick Henry, who’s been on a tear.

Defensive coordinator Gus Bradley had some words in regards to safety Nasir Adderley and his current hamstring injury.

“We’re trying to be patient with him and have him come back. I think he’s a guy that feels like he needs to be 100 percent. But he’s going to have to learn that you might have to play at 90 or 85 in this league. So he’s figuring that part out,” Bradley said.

From what Bradley had to say about the rookie safety, it appears that Adderley is waiting to recover completely, but Bradley believes that even if he’s not at full health, then he still needs to be getting reps in.

The highlight of today’s injury report is that kicker Michael Badgley was a full participant. Barring any setback, it’s likely that Badgley will make his 2019 debut this weekend.
