Inside Jaguar: Making A Million Pound Car
9pm, Channel 4

Among iconic motors, the Jaguar E-type is undoubtedly the most “shagadelic”, evoking visions of James Bond and Steve McQueen to a groovy soundtrack of 60s horns. Now, the company is crafting half-a-dozen Lightweights – exact reconstructions of the racing E-type – to offer them up to six car-collecting billionaires. Classic car enthusiast Mark Evans charts the creation of this undeniably beautiful work of art, “growling away like the big cat it is”. Ali Catterall

Born Naughty?
8pm, Channel 4

In a slice of prime Katie Hopkins catnip, this week sees two single mums with two out-of-control little boys. Billy is only two-and-a-half, but he has already given his mum a split lip and demands a three-hour bedtime story. Eight-year-old Charlie has been excluded from school for trashing the classroom and attacking the headmaster, and is so violent that his mum has had to call the police. Dr Dawn and Dr Ravi dig deeper to find the lovely little chaps who lie beneath the bad behaviour. Hannah Verdier

Deep-Sea Super Predator
8pm, Channel 5

From Jaws to Sharknado, the great white has long been cast as one of nature’s unassailable apex predators. So what sort of dread behemoth would be capable of chasing an electronically tagged shark 600 metres deep and devouring it whole? That’s the mystery Australian marine scientists have been grappling with since 2003, after piecing together data from that unfortunate great white’s black box. This documentary has a few nightmare-inducing theories, one of which involves the phrase “underwater colosseum”. Graeme Virtue

Britain’s Secret Terror Deals
9pm, BBC1

Every party to Northern Ireland’s Troubles acted appallingly, but it should have been possible to expect better of those who were supposed to be upholding the law. This investigation looks into persistent suggestions that this was not always the case – that the state colluded with paramilitaries, especially those claiming to be fighting for the Loyalist cause. Darragh MacIntyre meets the victims’ families, who have spent decades attempting to disinter the truth, and confronts some of those suspected of complicity. Andrew Mueller

The Game
9pm, BBC2

This Tinker Tailor tribute act plays its strongest card: it’s time to reveal the Russian informant at MI5. As mole-hunter Joe (Tom Hughes) springs Kate (Rachael Stirling) out of jail to resume their sexy partnership, the first business of the day involves nervy Wendy posing as a nurse to gain the trust of an invalided bomb-disposal expert who is in cahoots with the IRA, the KGB, both or neither. To stop a cataclysm, the identity of the traitor needs to be sussed out … but it’s obvious, isn’t it? Jack Seale

Glee
9pm, Sky1

The sixth and final season of the American musical drama opens with Rachel coming home from New York after her TV show is cancelled after just one episode. McKinley is not the jazz hands-based place it once was, as the majestic Sue Sylvester has finally got rid of the arts. With Blaine and Kurt both moving on after their split and Mr Schue mentoring New Directions’ rivals, Vocal Adrenaline, it’s a sad state of affairs. At least the songs remain upbeat, with a take on Ed Sheeran’s Sing and a long-awaited Let It Go. Hannah Verdier

The Good Wife
9pm, More4

Tough times for Alicia as she arrives to film a supposed profile piece, only for fiery journo Petra Moritz to unleash a Paxman-esque grilling following a calamitous email leak. Away from the grim outlook unfolding in front of the TV cameras, Diane becomes embroiled in a battle to win a hard-right client over to her liberal agenda when it comes to concepts such as sexual equality, fairness and religious freedom. For British viewers, this concisely crams the past few months of election-based grandstanding into a microcosm. Mark Jones
