Newborn baby orphaned as parents take their own lives within days of each other

A newborn baby has been left an orphan after both his police officer parents took their own lives within days of each other.

New dad Clayton Osteen made an attempt on his life on New Year's Eve and was rushed to hospital.

While he didn't die immediately, his family chose to turn off his life support two days later.

A day later his grief-stricken partner Victoria Pachecho also took her own life, leaving the couple's one-month-old son orphaned.

'Danger' dog seized by cops after 'attack' leaves two children hurt and tiny Yorkshire Terrier dead at Scots park

A 'dangerous' dog has been seized by police after two young children were hurt during an alleged attack at a West Lothian park.

A miniature Yorkshire Terrier was also killed during the incident which took place near Blackburnhall Gardens, Blackburn, on Wednesday evening.

Police have confirmed that two youngsters, aged three and 10, suffered minor injuries while a male teenager has been arrested in connection.

It is understood that the same dog was involved in a separate incident last July which resulted in a 72-year-old man having his thumb ‘bitten off’.

A leading British anti-vaxxer is now in hospital with Covid after refusing to get the vaccine and claiming that the virus was "just a common cold".

John O'Looney, aged 53, finally decided that Covid-19 was serious and real after he was admitted to a hospital ICU unit with the virus last month.

The funeral director has become a well-known figure for anti-vaxxers with his social media videos that make unproven claims about the virus and the vaccine, reports Wales Online.
