Andy Goram has revealed he gave up on finding love and settling down years ago.

The Rangers idol split from three wives and had a series of doomed romances before realising he was destined to remain single.

Goram was last month told by doctors he has around six months to live and faces fighting stage 4 oesophageal cancer on his own.

However the 58-year-old is stoic about what lies ahead – and philosophical about his tangled love life.

A dad whose skin turned yellow was given the heartbreaking news that he was suffering from a 'silent killer' just days before it became inoperable.

Shaun Walsh, from Huyton, sent a photo of his yellow face to a friend four years ago this week.

As well as his skin and urine changing colour, he started suffering from nausea, weight loss and lack of energy.

The 48-year-old couldn't bare to sit outside on warm days and had wanted to put up flags in front of his house for the Champions League, but was too unwell.

Liam Payne opened up about his ex-partner Cheryl, admitting that their son "ruined their relationship – but for all the right reasons".

The former One Directioner has just appeared on the podcast of controversial American Youtuber Logan Paul.

Liam, now 28, was 23 years old when Cheryl, then 33, gave birth to their son Bear in 2017.

He spoke candidly on Logan's ImPaulsive podcast about how he struggled to comes to terms with fatherhood.

DWP confirms new Winter Fuel Payment rates for this year and who will qualify for £300 boost

More than 8 million pensioner households across the UK will receive a £300 payment on top of Winter Fuel Payment (Getty Images)

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has released updated guidance for millions of older people set to receive a £300 one-off ‘Pensioner Cost of Living Payment’ on top of their Winter Fuel Payment later this year.

Chancellor Rishis Sunak announced last week that pensioners are disproportionately impacted by higher energy costs, and many low-income pensioner households do not claim the means-tested benefits they are entitled to.

But what is the best thing to do in this instance? Is it to toss and turn and hope for the best?

Well, according to TV doctor Michael Mosley, you're as well just getting up.

Waking up at 3am can be especially annoying if you have somewhere to be early the next morning, but sometimes the harder you try to sleep the more difficult it can become.
