We all though summer had arrived and was set to stay. In fact, maybe we weren't THAT confident but things were really looking up.
But now the Met Office has issued a weather warning - not a heatwave, but a thunderstorm. Great news.
"Heavy showers and thunderstorms may cause some travel disruption and flooding in places", the warning reads.
The yellow warning will come into force from midday until 9pm on Thursday, covering Leeds and much of the north of England and Scotland.
According to the Weather Channel , the showers will begin from tomorrow, and last until at least Friday. Temperatures will remain high though, topping 20C from Wednesday until the end of the week.
