Thunder, Westbrook dominate Bulls in 109-94 win

CHICAGO _ The NBA may have finally found a way to slow Jimmy Butler _ illness.

The do-it-all star missed Monday's shootaround at the Advocate Center and managed just one point on 0-for-6 shooting as the Thunder snapped the Bulls' three-game win streak with a 109-94 triumph at the United Center.

Russell Westbrook missed his 18th triple double by one rebound, adding 21 points and 14 assists.

Steven Adams scored 22 points and Enes Kanter had 20 as the Thunder piled up a 60-36 points in the paint advantage.

Dwyane Wade, trying to pick up the slack in Butler's absence, led the Bulls with 22 points. Michael Carter-Williams, who started on Westbrook, added a season-high 15.

"They're third in the league in fast-break points, all because of Westbrook," coach Fred Hoiberg said. "He gets it down fast and does a great job of dropping it off. Their bigs are great rim runners. They get a lot accomplished in the post in transition as well. It's a full team awareness issue with Westbrook."

Wade played Monday night but Hoiberg said the plan is for him to sit on Tuesday in Washington. The Bulls begin a stretch of five games in seven days against the Thunder. Wade missed a game last week with a swollen left knee and said he'd revisit playing in back-to-backs.

Butler has a fever, according to Hoiberg.
