The worst uniform snafu of the season was corrected at halftime.
After the Oklahoma City Thunder wore orange and the Atlanta Hawks wore red during the first half of the game on Friday, the Thunder changed to white uniforms during halftime.
A Thunder spokesperson told ESPN reporter Royce Young that the Hawks had been wearing the wrong uniform combination for the game. Atlanta only brought the red jerseys on their road trip. Young tweeted that the league told him:
“The Hawks are wearing the incorrect uniform color for the game. The league process of inputting uniform colors should have caught the orange/red combo, but because the Hawks only have red uniforms on the trip, the Thunder will switch to white…”

So that’s the end of what had been an odd first half that had Twitter in a frenzy trying to figure out who was on which team.
White vs. red is certainly a lot easier to see.
The Thunder led 63-55 at the end of the first half and increased that to 96-80 at the end of the third. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 22 points while Lu Dort and Darius Bazley had 16 apiece.
