Thunder sign rookie Jeremiah Robinson-Earl to contract

The Oklahoma City Thunder have officially signed another draft pick. The team announced Tuesday that big Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, selected No. 32 overall, inked his first NBA deal.

According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, it is a four-year deal worth $8 million.

The Thunder have now secured contracts with most or all of their rookies. Josh Giddey and Tre Mann, selected in the first round, signed respective contracts that were announced on Sunday.

No. 55 overall pick Aaron Wiggins will sign a two-way deal, according to the Oklahoman’s Joe Mussatto.

All four players are on the Thunder’s summer league team. In the opening game, Giddey played just five minutes due to an ankle injury and Mann struggled shooting, but Robinson-Earl and Wiggins impressed in their debut.

The Villanova big had 14 points, six rebounds and two steals while the Maryland guard posted 13 points, five rebounds and three steals off the bench.

Oklahoma City hopes this group of rookies can play roles on the team as they work to develop during the first season of play.

The Thunder’s next summer league game is scheduled for Wednesday at 6 p.m. against the New Orleans Pelicans.
