Thunder set franchise record for made three-pointers in win over Bucks

On a night in which Paul George rested due to a sore right shoulder, the Oklahoma City Thunder saw seven players score in double figures en route to a 127-116 win over the Milwaukee Bucks Wednesday night.

Dennis Schroder tied a season-high for scoring — 32 points — to lead the Thunder to its fifth-straight win to close out the regular season. Jerami Grant added a career-high 28 points.

The Bucks sat Giannis Antetokounmpo and Brook Lopez during the game with the No. 1 seed locked up in the Eastern Conference. Tim Frazier led the Bucks with 29 points, while Khris Middleton and Bonzie Colson each had 21.

With seven players in double figures, the Thunder drained a franchise record 23 three-pointers in the game. The team shot 42.6 percent from beyond the arc, as Schroder hit a career-high eight treys in the game.

Russell Westbrook recorded 15 points, 17 assists and 11 rebounds for his 34th triple-double of the season and the 138th of his career, tying Magic Johnson for second all-time.

The Thunder clinched the sixth seed in the Western Conference with the win and will wait to find out their opponent with the conclusion of the late games Wednesday night. They will play either the Nuggets, Rockets or Trail Blazers.

The playoffs begin Saturday.
