Thunder select Brandon Clarke at No. 21, trade to Grizzlies for No. 23

Prior to making their selection with the 21st pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported the Oklahoma City Thunder made a trade with the Memphis Grizzlies. The Thunder traded their lone first-round pick to the Grizzlies for the 23rd overall pick in the 2019 draft and Memphis’ second-round pick in the 2024 NBA Draft.

With the pick, the Thunder selected Gonzaga guard Brandon Clarke for the Grizzlies. The 23rd overall pick originally belonged to the Utah Jazz.
