Thunder’s 2019-20 schedule released, season opener in Utah

The 2019-20 NBA schedule has been set and the new-look Oklahoma City Thunder will start their season on the road in Utah on Oct. 23. Two days after their matchup with the Jazz, the Thunder will host the Washington Wizards at Chesapeake Bay Arena.

The Thunder have 13 back-to-backs this season, with their single month maximum coming in January, with three.

Oklahoma City first faces Russell Westbrook and the Houston Rockets on Oct. 28 in the second game of a back-to-back. Westbrook makes his return to Chesapeake Bay Arena on Jan. 9.

Paul George returns to Oklahoma City with the Los Angeles Clippers on Dec. 22 and again on March 3.

Thunder fans won’t see Jerami Grant come back to Oklahoma City as a member of the Denver Nuggets until Feb. 21.

  • Golden State Warriors (10/27 and 11/9)
  • Los Angeles Lakers (11/22)
  • New Orleans Pelicans (11/2)
  • Portland Trailblazers (10/30 and 1/19)
  • Utah Jazz (4/13)
  • Dallas Mavericks (New Year’s Eve at 7 p.m.)
