Thunder reportedly waived Donte Grantham

The Oklahoma City Thunder have reportedly freed up one of the organization’s two-way contracts. According to Keith Smith of Yahoo Sports, the Thunder have waived Donte Grantham.

Grantham made his NBA debut with Oklahoma City in 2018-19, appearing in parts of three games.

He spent the majority of last season with the Oklahoma City Blue in the G League. Grantham played in 34 games for the Blue, averaged 10.5 points. 6.5 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game while shooting 40.4 percent from the floor, 37.2 percent from three.

While with the Thunder’s 2019 Summer League squad in Las Vegas, Grantham only averaged 7.2 points per game on 34 percent shooting. While playing 22.2 minutes per game, the forward averaged four rebounds, one steal, 2.4 assists, and 0.8 blocks per game.

Prior to latching on with Oklahoma City, Grantham attended Clemson for four years. In his senior year, the forward averaged 14.2 points per game and shot 56 percent from the field. He signed with the Thunder in 2018 as an undrafted free agent
