Thunder release 2019-20 uniform kit

The Oklahoma City Thunder presented fans with their set of 2019-20 jerseys on Tuesday. The kit features four uniforms: Association (white), Icon (blue), Statement (orange) and City (black).

This season’s City jersey was designed with the team’s partner, the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum, with the 25th anniversary of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building bombing coming on April 19. The jersey features the times 9:01 and 9:03 on the shorts, representing before and after the bombing, with the attack taking place precisely at 9:02 a.m. The uniform also features the Survivor Tree, the terms “Service,” “Honor” and “Kindness,” and a remembrance to honor the 168 victims, the survivors of the attack and the first responders.

As explained on the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum’ site, the City uniform “is symbolic of an important long-standing partnership between the team and the Memorial.”
