Thunder player grades: How OKC players performed in 2020-21 season

With the Oklahoma City Thunder season having come to a close, it’s time to look at the grades of the full year for the players.

Each month, players have received grades from OKC Thunder Wire based on their performance from that time period. These will cover the whole season.

Grades are based on a few categories:

Statistics: Stats don’t lie!

Eye-test: This one is very subjective. Aleksej Pokusevski’s second half of the season is an example of a player passing the eye test, while Pokusevski’s first half of the season is an example of a player not passing it.

Expectations: Lu Dort’s 34% shooting from 3 will earn him points. If Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had shot that mark, he would have lost points for it. Unfair? Oh well.

There are some other indicators you’ll see too, but those are the big three. Let’s dive in.
