Thunder open as favorites vs. Warriors at home Saturday night

With the Golden State Warriors set to visit Chesapeake Energy Arena on Saturday, the Oklahoma City Thunder will be 1.5-point favorites in the contest.

The meeting will be the third and final matchup of the regular season as the two teams have split the season series to this point. The Thunder most recently defeated the Warriors 123-95 on Nov. 21.

The Thunder are 19-19 all-time against the Warriors during the Oklahoma City era, including a 12-6 record at home.

Golden State could be underdogs against OKC as Kevin Durant will not play due to an ankle injury. The former Thunder player suffered an ankle injury on Sunday and did not play Wednesday against the Houston Rockets.

As the two teams get set to play, Paul George is looking forward to the matchup.

It’s one of the best teams in the league and there is obviously history between these two far longer than when I was here so it’s always a good game when we play them.

The contest Saturday is shaping up to be the most expensive of the season.

According to TickPick, the average listing price for Saturday night’s game is $615 with an average purchase price of $345. The “get-in” price is set for $163, which is 443 percent more expensive than the “get-in” price against the Miami Heat ($30) on Monday.

The game is set to tip off at 7:30 p.m. CT and can be seen on ABC.
