Thunder now have most double-digit comeback wins in franchise history

After losing on Wednesday, the Oklahoma City Thunder took the second game of a home-and-home against the Toronto Raptors with a 116-109 win on Friday night.

Paul George led OKC in the win with 28 points while Dennis Schroder had 26 off of the bench and Jerami Grant had 19 points on 5-of-8 shooting from 3-point range.

The Thunder trailed the Raptors by as many as 13 points in the contest but outscored Toronto 68-51 in the second half. They held the Raptors to just five 3-pointers and forced 10 turnovers in the half.

With the win, the Thunder now have overcome 15 double-digit deficits this season which represents the most in team history. Only the Milwaukee Bucks have more 10-plus point comebacks this season with 16.

While the stat is surely troubling, given the fact they have faced double-digit several times this season, it does show that they can overcome large deficits and have a chance to win in most games.

The Thunder have struggled as of late so they will be trying to build some momentum heading into the postseason. George said after the game the team is building toward the playoffs.

OKC returns to action on Monday against the Memphis Grizzlies.
