Thunder look to sweep season series vs. the Jazz as underdogs

The Oklahoma City Thunder will be three-point underdogs Monday night on the road as they attempt to sweep the season series against the Utah Jazz.

The Thunder will wrap up a four-game road trip on Monday as the team has gone 1-2 so far. OKC has defeated the Portland Trail Blazers while they lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Los Angeles Clippers.

Since the Thunder defeated the Jazz in double-overtime on Feb. 22, they have gone just 2-6 while Utah has gone 5-2. The Jazz are coming off of a 114-104 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday.

Of course, Paul George led the Thunder to that 148-147 double-overtime win after he hit the game-winning shot with just 1.6 seconds left. Afterward, Russell Westbrook praised his teammate for that shot.

“It was tough, man,” Westbrook said. “Tough shot over Gobert. Big play, man. Big players make big plays. Obviously, he has been making them all year long and tonight was one of those nights where he made another big play.”

OKC has gone 13-2 against the Jazz over the past four seasons and is 11-10 all-time on the road in Utah.
