Thunder home game vs. Warriors to be most expensive of the season

With the Golden State Warriors set to make their lone appearance of the season at Chesapeake Energy Arena, the game is shaping up to be a crucial one at this point of the season.

The Warriors are in first place in the Western Conference at 46-21 while the Thunder are fifth with a 42-27 record, five games back. The two teams have split the season series to this point with the third and final matchup set for Saturday night.

Given the magnitude of the matchup, and with Kevin Durant returning to Oklahoma City, it is also shaping up to be the most expensive ticket of the season, according to TickPick.

According to the no-fee ticket marketplace, the average listing price for Saturday night’s game is $615 with an average purchase price of $345. The “get-in” price is set for $163, which is 443 percent more expensive than the “get-in” price against the Miami Heat ($30) on Monday.

The most expensive ticket in the building is running for a cool $1,824.

With so many stars on the team, the Warriors are typically a must-watch game when they travel on the road and Saturday will prove to be no different at The Peake.

The game is set to tip off at 7:30 p.m. CT and can be seen on ABC.
