Thunder have most games remaining in NBA against teams above .500

With just 23 games remaining during the 2018-19 regular season, the Thunder will have a tough outlook to finish out the year.

Oklahoma City currently has the toughest remaining strength of schedule in the NBA as the group will face 15 teams above the .500 mark, the most such opponents in the league, as noted by Steve Kyler of Basketball Insiders.

The Thunder have a tough upcoming week with games looming against the Denver Nuggets (Tuesday), Philadelphia 76ers (Thursday) and San Antonio Spurs (Saturday).

So far this season, the Thunder have mostly taken care of business against the elite teams in the league — the team has posted a 16-11 record against opponents above .500.

Oklahoma City still has two meetings against the Toronto Raptors and matchups against the Golden State Warriors, Milwaukee Bucks, Utah Jazz and Houston Rockets among others remaining.

The Thunder are 38-21 and third in the Western Conference.
