Thunder get 110-94 blowout win over Jazz in first Orlando seeding game

It took nearly five months, but finally, we can say it: the Oklahoma City Thunder have defeated the Utah Jazz.

The third and final meeting of the season between the teams was originally scheduled for March 11, but Rudy Gobert’s testing positive for the coronavirus delayed those plans.

On Aug. 1, the teams finally got to play that contest, and the Thunder managed to improve to 1-0 in their eight seeding games with a resounding 110-94 victory over Utah.

Heading into the game, most of the questions surrounding the Thunder revolved around Billy Donovan’s rotation, who he would rely on at the team’s primary backup playmaker, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s growth and whether Andre Roberson could continue his inspiring play from the team’s exhibition schedule.

While all of those answers may not have become known on Saturday, the Thunder do at least know this: they can still win a basketball game.
