The Thunder have decided not to re-sign Richard Solomon and Scotty Hopson following the end of their 10-day contracts, as pointed out by Keith Smith of Yahoo Sports.
The team could have signed each player to one more 10-day contract before the club would either have to sign one or both players for the remainder of the season or release them outright.
Oklahoma City will need to sign at least one more player within two weeks to meet the NBA roster minimum and could still opt to sign either Solomon or Hopson to another 10-day contract. The Thunder may be inclined to wait out the full two weeks, though, in order to save on luxury taxes.
With Solomon and Hopson away from the team — at least for now — the Thunder have 13 players signed under contract and a pair of two-way contracts, as well.
The Thunder will eventually need to sign another player to meet the minimum roster size of 14 standard contracts although it is unclear which player the team will sign.
Solomon and Hopson did not appear in a game during their stints with the team.
