Thunder at Lakers: Prediction, point spread, odds, over/under, betting picks

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers host the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday night, and if you’re looking to do some last-minute betting research, you’re in luck! We’ll give you the latest point spread, moneyline odds and over-under number, as well as the information you’ll need to make the smartest bet on BetMGM.

The game tips off at 10 p.m. ET and can be seen on Spectrum SportsNet (LA) and Fox Sports Oklahoma.

The Lakers are on a four-game winning streak, but will be without superstar center Anthony Davis, who is out with Achilles tendinosis. The Thunder will be missing Isaiah Roby, but Al Horford will return to the lineup.

The lines, courtesy of BetMGM

  • Point spread: Lakers -10.5
  • Money line: Lakers -600 / Thunder +425
  • Over-under: 219.5

Place your legal, online sports bets in VA, CO, IA, IN, NJ, PA, TN and WV at BetMGM.

Advice and prediction

This is a good spot for the Thunder with Davis out, as 10.5 is a big line to be laying for the Lakers. These teams have met once already this season and the Lakers cruised to a 29-point victory on the road, but LA was fully healthy in that game while the Thunder were missing Horford. With the Lakers just two days removed from a double-overtime win over the Pistons, I like the Thunder to lose… but keep things relatively close. Take the Thunder +10.5.

I also like the over 219.5 here. The under has been the smart bet on the Lakers all season, but they won’t have Davis protecting the paint, and the Thunder just scored a franchise-record 82 points in a half against the Timberwolves on Saturday. The first meeting between these two teams also easily went past 219.5.

Prediction: Lakers 125, Thunder 116
