Thunder announce 2019 preseason schedule

The dates have been set for when Oklahoma City Thunder fans can get their first look at the restructured roster. The team released its four-game preseason schedule on Wednesday.

First, the Thunder will take on the Dallas Mavericks on October 8 in Tulsa at 7 p.m. The Mavericks roster is headlined by 2019 NBA Rookie of the Year Luka Doncic and 2018 NBA All-Star Kristaps Porzingis, who hasn’t played in a game since 2017-18 after tearing his ACL in his left knee.

Oklahoma City also faces the Mavericks again in their third preseason game. That game will be played in Dallas on October 14 at 7:30 p.m.

The Thunder then host the New Zealand Breakers in Oklahoma City on October 10 at 7 p.m. In addition to the Breakers being a professional team from Steven Adams’ home country, their roster features 18-year-old American prospect R.J. Hampton.

Oklahoma City rounds things out at home on October 16 at 7 p.m. against the Ja Morant-led Memphis Grizzlies.
