Thugs steal gold chains, rings, bracelets and Rolexes in raid in Middleton

Thugs stole gold chains, rings, bracelets and Rolexes during a break-in in Middleton.

Thieves raided a home on Falcon Drive. They also took electrical goods.

Greater Manchester Police say they broke in between 9am on Thursday, January 16, and 12.30pm the following day.

The incident was later reported to police.

There were clear signs of 'forced entry', the force said in a statement.

Images of watches, rings, bracelets and necklaces have been released by detectives investigating the break-in.

Police are urging anyone with information to come forward.

No arrests have been made. Enquiries are ongoing.

PC Amran Ali, of GMP’s Rochdale division, said: “This family has returned to their home to find that it has been burgled and a number of valuable items have been stolen.

“I absolutely recognise the impact of having your home broken into which is why investigating burglary and bringing offenders to justice is a priority for GMP. We are doing all we can to find those responsible and reunite this family with their stolen property.

“I would ask members of the public to take a good look at the photos provided and if you have any information about any of these items please get in contact with police as soon as possible.”

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 0161 856 8701, quoting incident number 1286 of January 17; or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
