McDonald's customers were left shaken up after a group of thugs smashed the windows of a restaurant last night.
A mum said she was "terrified" when the fast-food restaurant near Walton, Liverpool, was targeted by the gang of yobs.
Speaking to the Liverpool Echo, the mum, who did not want to be named, said she was visiting the McDonald's on Rice Lane in Walton, on the outskirts of Liverpool when she saw the damage.
She said she arrived there at around 8pm on Saturday, January 25, to see the smashed up glass.
According to her account, the damage is concentrated close to the drive-thru part of the restaurant.

Photos of the McDonalds taken this morning show how two of its windows were badly damaged.
Merseyside Police have confirmed that there was an incident at the Rice Lane McDonald's on Saturday night, but they have declined to release any more details.
The mum said customers who were inside the shop at the time were left very shaken by last night's incident.
"There were a lot of people being turned away who were on foot and I think people need to be aware because it was disgusting," she said.

"The lady at the door said the youths are there all the time.
"People need to know because if that is their child out they have cost thousands of pounds the windows were smashed and there were people inside terrified."
Speaking to the Liverpool Echo, the witness added “I live in the area and I am just terrified thinking that it could be someone’s car next."
