A shop was raided in Falkirk during the early hours of this morning sparking a police probe.
Officers were alerted to the break-in at the ScotMid store on Carronshore Road, Carronshore, just before 2.30am on Tuesday, August 24.
A police van has been pictured sitting outside the shop, with tape across the footpath and section of road.
Bottles of water are also scattered across the busy residential street.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police received a report of a break-in and theft from a premises on Carronshore Road, Falkirk, around 2.20am this morning (24 August).
"Officers are currently in attendance. Enquiries are ongoing and at an early stage."
